Description: The DIGIZENSHIP project was developed in response to the specific challenges faced by rural adults in accessing European citizenship opportunities, digital tools and civic participation mechanisms. Rural communities in Italy, Greece and Lithuania often have limited awareness of EU rights and programmes, as well as gaps in digital literacy, which make it difficult to engage in European democratic life and benefit from available opportunities.
